The orchestra is composed of very highly trained mucisians.

For example the head of the orchestra was such a big talent that already at the age of 12, he played as first violinist in front of the world famous
"100-member Gipsy Orchestra" (see the photo below)

The members of the orchestra have had vast numbers of performances both in Hungary and abroad in other formations.

Now they want to exploit this knowledge and experience in their new orchestra called "Gipsy Diamonds".

There are several soloists (violinist, cimbalom player, accordion-player, guitar player, and singer) in the orchestra, virtuosos of their instruments.

The success of the orchestra is also attributable to their being "at home" in almost every style.

Starting from classical music, through authentic and the so-called "Hungarian gipsy music" that is popular everywhere, the orchestra plays jazz and national songs.

Events in which the orchestra can participate: appearances on music festivals, 2 to 3 hours concerts, securing professional musical background at any type of celebrations, gala dinners, special events.

The high-level program offered by the orchestra may make your musical offer even richer.

"ABOUT THE ORCHESTRA"

		Pál Szomora, Jr., bandleader: He was born in Budapest, in a family of Hungarian gipsy musicians. He started to study music at the age of 5, helped by his grandfather, who was one of the founding members and remained until his death the head teacher of the internationally reputed Rajkó Zenekar(Rajkó Band).
As soloist, he was an active participant of several concerts of Rajkó Zenekar both in Hungary and abroad, at the age of 6 already. He was the first violinist of the "100-tagú Cigányzenekarban" (100-member Gipsy Band) from the age of 9 and he played almost in every part of the world, e.g., in the Sidney Opera House, the USA and New-Zealand. He accomplished his studies in the class of unique talents of Ferenc Liszt University of Music, with his teachers being such world reputed musicians as SZENTHELYI Miklós and RÁSONYI Leila. At the age of 20, he was admitted to the Belgian Royal College of Music. He played in the Orchestra of the Belgian Radio and Television as leader. For the time being, he is the head teacher of the violin faculty of a private music school, the lead soloist of Gipsy Diamonds Orchestra, a virtuoso of violin.

		Sándor Űrmös, cimbalom player: winner of the National Competition of Hungarian Cimbalom Players. Soloist of the 100-member Gipsy Band, virtuoso of cimbalom.

		László Molnár, double-bass player: from the age of 15 he was invited by the biggest musicians, such as, JÁRÓKA Sándor, Jr. to play in their bands. He is the double-bass leader of the 100-member Gipsy Band.

		Károly Berki, guitar player: he is a student of SNÉTBERGER Ferenc in the Budapest Jazz Conservatoire. He plays both classical music and jazz at a high level.

		László Bódi, clarinetist: he proves his talent in the best bands since 16. He played together with such gipsy band leaders as JÁRÓKA Sándor, BOROSS Lajos, Roby LAKATOS.

		Hans Van Tilborg, second violinist: a violinist, Belgian by nationality, who adores gipsy music. In Belgium, he is a member of the Orchestra of the Opera of Gent.

		László Bódy, Jr., pianist: he learns music from early childhood. He studied in the Budapest Jazz Conservatoire under the hands of GARAY Attila. From 19, he lives in Belgium, where he plays piano in elegant hotels and restaurants.

		Zsolt Szomora, violinist: he has worked as violinist in Morocco, in one of the most elegant hotels of Africa for several years, and also in Tokyo.

		Fatime Halmos, singer: she lived and studied in Italy and Hungary and has diplomas as actor and singer. She has a highly trained cultured voice in a 3,5 octaves range of voice. Her personality and talents are a great asset for the orchestra. She sings in several languages.
